Key Responsibilities
* Act as a visible and proactive leader on site, championing safe working practices and ensuring full compliance with environmental, water quality and regulatory standards.
* Lead the design, installation, testing and commissioning of water treatment plant (WTP) systems, including filtration, recycling, reuse and wastewater management solutions, particularly within data centre environments.
* Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including clients, designers, specialist contractors and operators, to deliver WTP and utility systems to programme, budget and quality expectations.
* Identify, manage and resolve technical, commercial and operational challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to live or mission-critical data centre operations.
* Implement and monitor robust project controls and governance processes, driving continuous improvement, efficiency and sustainability outcomes.
* Chair key project meetings, provide clear and accurate reporting, and communicate risks, opportunities and mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders.
About You
* Proven experience delivering water treatment plant, utilities or process systems on large-scale industrial or data centre projects, ideally within a consultancy or client-facing environment.
* A degree in engineering, environmental science or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
* Strong technical understanding of WTP design, construction and commissioning, alongside regulatory compliance and sustainable water management practices.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented and confident operating in fast-paced, high-reliability and mission-critical environments.
* An effective communicator with a collaborative approach and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and project teams.
* Holds, or is actively working towards, a recognised project management qualification (e.g. PMP or equivalent).
