Vandewiele has a state-of-the-art production system, with our complete automated manufacturing process being realized in-house.To join our team, we are currenty looking for an Embedded Software Engineer.Your role:We are looking for a creative and innovative Embedded Software Engineer to join our R&D team. You will work closely with hardware engineers, designers, and product teams to develop and optimize embedded systems that power our advanced textile machinery. Your contributions will directly impact the performance, reliability, and user experience of our products.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for textile machinery and control systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware components. Optimize real-time performance and ensure system stability.Test, debug, and troubleshoot embedded systems and firmware.Stay current with advancements in embedded technologies and apply them to ongoing projects.Your profile:Masters degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or equivalent experience. Strong interest in learning and applying new technologies. Open-minded with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in C++ for embedded development. Experience with microcontrollers, and hardware interfaces (e.G., SPI, I2C, UART) is a plus.
