For a long term consultancy mission within a renown Biopharmaceutical company with headquarters in Belgium, we are seeking an experienced
Global Medical Dermatology Lead
to drive the global medical strategy for the psoriasis program and contribute across broader immunology portfolio. This is a unique, high‑impact role within a growing global team. For Belgian residents, an employee status is possible, for non local candidates only freelancers can be considered.
The Opportunity
Join a small, agile global medical director team (4 people) embedded within an international immunology organisation. You will step into the global psoriasis lead role as part of a planned transition and shape medical strategy, scientific leadership, and cross‑functional execution at the highest level.
What You'll Do
* Lead and evolve the
global medical strategy
for psoriasis (80% focus).
* Serve as the
scientific subject matter expert
, providing guidance across global cross‑functional teams.
* Drive
publications
,
evidence generation
, advisory boards, and scientific communication.
* Build and maintain a global
KOL network
; integrate insights into strategy and planning.
* Partner closely with regional MA teams and internal stakeholders across R&D and clinical development.
* Ensure
medical excellence
, scientific rigor, and high-quality execution of all deliverables.
What You Bring
* 5–8+ years
in Medical Affairs (global or above-country experience strongly preferred).
* Expertise in
dermatology or immunology
(psoriasis, IBD, rheumatology, etc.).
* Strong capability in developing and executing
global medical plans
.
* Excellent communication skills and comfort with internal/external visibility.
* Proven ability to collaborate, influence, and lead within a
matrix environment
.
* Scientific background:
MD, PharmD, PhD
(or strong equivalent).
Ideal Profile
* Prior experience as a medical lead in
psoriasis
.
* Strong cross‑functional leadership within immunology.
* Reliable, structured, self‑driven, with excellent soft skills.
* Consistent track record of high‑quality delivery in complex environments.
Bonus Skills
* Additional languages (Spanish, French, Dutch).
* Experience managing consulting/CI vendors.
* Cross‑indication medical affairs experience.
* Publications leadership experience.
Language & Work Setup
* English required
