As part of our continued development, we are looking for an Engineer Project Coordinator – Visual Inspection to support one of our pharmaceutical partners located near Brussels.
This is a great opportunity for an energetic and hands-on engineer who enjoys coordinating technical projects, interacting with multiple stakeholders, and contributing to the implementation of inspection technologies in a highly regulated environment.
Introduction
In this role, you will coordinate the implementation and qualification of a new automated visual inspection system dedicated to packaging integrity control. Acting as a central point between engineering, production, validation, QA, and EHS teams, you will ensure smooth execution of project activities and support the commissioning and validation phases.
This position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a structured project mindset, and a technical background in mechanics, automation, or general engineering.
Responsibilities
As an Engineer Project Coordinator, you will:
* Support project management activities throughout the lifecycle of the visual inspection equipment implementation.
* Represent the user/production perspective in technical discussions, ensuring solutions meet operational needs.
* Contribute to the development of technical justifications, test kits, and project documentation.
* Facilitate communication among stakeholders (engineering, QA, validation, EHS, production).
* Coordinate interactions with construction or installation activities within an active pharmaceutical environment.
* Lead or support commissioning and validation activities to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
* Participate in meetings, provide updates, and support decision-making processes.
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, automation, mechatronics, or generalist)
* Experience in technical project coordination within the pharmaceutical or industrial sector
* Knowledge of visual inspection principles or automated detection systems is a strong asset
* Excellent communication and stakeholder‐management skills
* A structured, proactive, and solution‐oriented mindset
* Familiarity with GMP environments.
