Serco Defence: Enhancing Military Training in Belgium
As part of Serco Group PLC, we bring global expertise and innovation to Defence services and we are dedicated to ensuring Belgium’s military training remains cutting-edge and efficient.
Subject to contract award, Serco Defence is expanding operations, with future opportunities emerging to manage and maintain key military training facilities throughout Belgium.
We are currently researching solutions that are designed to improve operational readiness by delivering high-quality services across advanced training installations, focused on the following areas;
* Management & Operations: Overseeing execution, compliance, and service quality.
* Technical & Engineering: Maintaining and optimizing training equipment.
* Simulation & Training: Supporting personnel in using advanced technologies.
* IT & Logistics: Managing infrastructure, cybersecurity, planning, and support.

Main Responsibilities
Leopoldsburg:
* Managing and operating the Anti-Fortification Anti-Armor simulator and creating scenarios.
* Using and maintaining the Air Compression Unit (gas filling system for the Outdoor Trainer Anti-Fortification Anti-Armor).
* Managing spare parts for the simulator in Leopoldsburg.
* Planning and coordinating the use of the simulator in Leopoldsburg.
* Transferring the Outdoor Trainer to the instructor or unit monitor for planned training.
* Handing over the Indoor Trainer room keys to the instructor or unit monitor for planned training.
* Managing and operating the Indoor Trainer for Anti-Fortification Anti-Armor and creating scenarios.
* Managing spare parts for the Anti-Fortification Anti-Armor simulator in Marche-En-Famenne.
* Planning simulator usage in Marche-En-Famenne.
* Handing over the Indoor Trainer room keys to the instructor or unit monitor for planned training.
Profiel
* Experience as a warehouse manager
* Knowledge & experience ILIAS (defence management system)
Background:
* Ideal: Deputy Spike
* Very good: Squad Commander Spike
* Acceptable: Logistics function
* Bonus: light or heavy armament repairer
* Bonus: experience with hydraulics
