Overview
We are looking for a talented Data Engineer to join a dynamic project in Brussels, starting 02/03/2026.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines (Informatica PowerCenter) for large-scale databases (20TB+).
* Develop Java applications (Java, Spring Boot, Maven, etc.).
* Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
* Ensure high code quality, release management, and performance optimization.
* Troubleshoot issues with a hands-on, pragmatic approach.
* Work in a cross-functional, international team 🌍.
Must-have skills
* Expert in Informatica PowerCenter & big data platforms (Oracle/SybaseIQ).
* Advanced SQL and good knowledge of Java.
* Experience in batch processing, scheduling & monitoring.
Nice-to-have
* Experience in banking/insurance sectors (preferred)
* Knowledge of data governance / GDPR compliance
* Proactive and autonomous
* Strong communication & analytical skills
