The role has an applied focus across all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) domains, with an additional emphasis on safety. This includes, for example, guiding and advising the department in all EHS domains, developing and delivering EHS training, and conducting site inspections.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Support and conduct incident investigations aimed at quality outcomes and identifying root causes, as well as helping define concrete preventive measures.
* Assist in audits.
* Follow up on measures against allergies:
o Analyze and report on dust peaks.
o Contribute ideas for preventive measures.
o Monitor the implementation and application of these measures on the shop floor.
* Conduct site inspections and guide operators/staff/management on safety, health, and environmental practices (e.g., PPE usage, work methods).
* Identify training gaps in safety, health, and environment, develop training sessions, provide training, and follow up on training effectiveness.
* Perform control rounds for CLP compliance and labeling of all raw materials.
* Act as a critical voice in the MOC (Management of Change) process, offering an outside-in perspective.
* Ensure sustainable implementation/integration of actions related to safety, environment, and health.
* Provide advice on safety, environmental, and health-related questions and support the department in implementing the given advice.
* Attend safety talks and contribute to improving their quality.
Technical Profile Requirements:
* You hold a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Safety or a Prevention Advisor Level 2 certificate.
* You have experience in safety and health policy, preferably in an industrial environment.
* You possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
* You have didactic skills and can deliver training yourself.
* You are fluent in Dutch.
