Job Description
The Head of Sales role will be a key part of the Belgian management team, responsible for the delivery of the key business objectives in Belgium. You will be responsible for the leadership of 110 FTE across 2 sites, in Ronse and Antwerp.
* Day to day management of the internal sales, marketing and services teams
* Positioning Radius as the best-in-class service provider for fuel, EV and telecoms solutions.
* Recruitment, coaching and developing people further commercially, building strong market awareness. Strengthen sales skills and capabilities within the organisation.
* Working closely with all internal stakeholders to deliver a superior service and business growth
* Leading the sales department to achieve sales results as required by the business
* Leading the service department to manage the end to end customer lifecycle, maximising margins
* Managing Value-added-Sale cross-selling opportunities to improve customer retention
* Creating Innovative solutions working alongside Marketing to acquire new customers and manage marketing budget vs. spend
* Manage the operational element of the Recruitment and Selection process
* Design and Deliver best-in-class training programmes for new start induction and agent development
* Create a roadmap for succession planning for future management and leadership development
* Create a compelling environment to support performance and retention of people
* Managing the large accounts proactively and driving the organisation to exceed customer expectations in terms of service.
Qualifications
* University degree or equivalent experience in a business related discipline.
* Significant experience of coaching, motivating & managing commercial account managers.
* Demonstrate leadership by example.
* Experience of leading inside sales teams (ideally lead a team of Outbounders – 7-10 persons)
* Ability to influence decision makers.
* Evidence of successfully motivating team to deliver business objectives effectively.
* Career achiever at the highest levels.
* Impressive professional credentials and career history.
* At ease with numbers and P&L
* Instantly credible with the presence and experience to drive sales growth.
* Analytical skills (draw conclusions and actions from analyses of numbers)
* Proven track record in a similar role.
* Operates to the highest professional standards.
Preference
* Sector experience (Fuel, EV, Telematics, Banking and/or Insurance in small entities)
