About Us
We are NONA, a group of five organic Italian restaurants in Brussels - three Neapolitan pizzerias, and two fresh pasta restaurants. Over the next two years, we aim to expand to 10 locations in Belgium and begin international franchising.
To support this growth, we're hiring an experienced HR Manager to help scale our team while maintaining our values and culture.
The Role
The HR Manager will be responsible for all HR activities on daily operational level for our team of around 150 restaurant team members. You will also design and manage HR strategies to support both current operations and future expansion. This is a hands-on and strategic role.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead HR activities on both operational and strategic levels.
· Ensure smooth HR operations including payroll and leave planning.
· Refine and implement procedures for Recruitment, Training & development, and Performance review & promotion
· Forecast and plan hiring for new and existing restaurants.
· Build hiring networks in Italy (kitchen staff) and Belgium (front of house).
· Manage international recruitment and integration processes.
· Oversee training programs and performance appraisals.
Ideal Background & Skills
· Bachelor's or Master's in Human Resources, Business Management, or related.
· At least 7 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in hospitality, retail, or a multi-site organization.
· Experience supporting growth, especially through scaling or franchising, is highly desirable.
· Fluent (oral and written) in Dutch and French, and excellent knowledge of English.
· Hands-on, proactive, and pragmatic - not afraid to roll up sleeves.
· High emotional intelligence and diplomacy.
· Experience with HR platforms and digital tools.
