Overview
Data-Integration Business Analyst – Data & Logic Definition: Support the integration project by identifying the data required by consuming applications to execute ordering flows and defining the logic that governs how this data is validated, transformed, routed, and used in decision-making.
About the Role
Collaborate with architects and consuming application teams to determine which data elements are needed to support ordering flows, including their source, timing, and relationships.
Responsibilities
* Analyze business processes to identify how data should be structured and delivered to enable correct and efficient execution.
* Define and document the logic to be applied in the process layer, including:
o Validation rules (e.g., required fields, data consistency)
o Decision logic (e.g., conditions for contract creation or fulfilment)
o Transformation rules (e.g., mapping internal codes to external references)
o Routing logic (e.g., directing flows based on thresholds or types)
o Calculation rules (e.g., dates)
* Ensure integration designs avoid embedding logic in the experience layer and promote reuse across endpoints.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in business analysis for integration projects (e.g., SAP, Mulesoft).
Required Skills
* Ability to translate data requirements into clear, structured specifications.
* Understanding of order-fulfilment orchestration processes.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
