About Us
At HydroVolta, we're providing sustainable water desalination solutions and technologies for both drinking water and industrial water recycling, all powered by our innovative and patented technologies.
The Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will be the brain behind our containerized water treatment plants. Your primary task will be to design, program, and implement the control systems that manage our processes, including the PLCs, pumps, valves, and monitoring equipment. You'll be crucial in ensuring our systems run efficiently, reliably, and autonomously.
The Role We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automation & Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will be the brain behind our containerized water treatment plants. Your primary task will be to design, program, and implement PC-based control systems that manage our processes, from local PLC logic to integrated data dashboards. You'll be crucial in ensuring our systems run efficiently, reliably, and autonomously in a connected world.
What You'll Do
* Beckhoff Ecosystem: Design and program PLC systems from the ground up using TwinCAT 3, utilizing Structured Text (ST) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
* Smart Dashboards: Build modern, responsive HMI interfaces (using TwinCAT HMI / HTML5) for both local operation and remote monitoring.
* IIoT & Cloud: Implement Cloud connectivity (MQTT, OPC UA) to stream process data to remote dashboards and internal databases.
* Process Control: Develop and implement control logic for automated sequences involving pumps, valves, sensors, and other critical components.
* Hardware Integration: Configure EtherCAT networks and integrate various industrial sensors/instrumentation.
* Collaborate: Work closely with mechanical and chemical engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and process optimization.
* Commissioning: Conduct testing of new systems, both in-house and potentially on-site.
