The role
We are currently looking for a Global People & Organization Manager to join our team in our headquarter office in Brussels, Belgium. Reporting to the CEO you will act as the first contact for all P&O related questions for the employees and the business.
Besides being the lead for all operational and employee life cycle topics for the employees in Brussels, you will also connect with the office and site in Poland (Wroclaw and Nysa) to align on best practices, share knowledge, implement global policies, guidelines and procedures and to focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence for the P&O function.
You will also be in charge of or participate in global projects (HRIS implementation, development and/or finalization of global HR guidelines, policies and procedures, development of approach on training, performance management and employer branding, organization, culture, mental health and wellbeing).
Responsibilities:
* Define and implement the P&O organization and strategy, policies and programs. Ensure successful support to the activities in other countries currently and in the future.
* Inspire and lead the P&O team in a matrix organization.
* Realize cost effectiveness of the P&O organisation through harmonization and redefining priorities in cooperation with the sites.
* Lead or participate in projects.
* Oversee day to day HR operations (Payroll, Benefits, Contract and Administration processes), ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor laws for the Brussels office.
* Follow up, coordinate and facilitate the rotational program for young graduates.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on various projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
1. 10+ years experience in a similar HR position, in an international environment
2. Solid knowledge of Belgian, and ideally Polish, Labour law
3. Fluency in English and Dutch and/or French (both written and spoken)
4. Knowledge of MS Office tools, SAP SuccessFactors
5. Team player
6. Interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving attitude
7. Critical thinking and analytical mind
