As Equipment Integration Business Analyst, you fulfill a key role in defining how advanced semiconductor equipment shall be integrated with our CIM applications.
What you will do
* As a member of our Fab Automation & Applications team(FAA), you willclosely workwith Product Owners and Business Analystsfor the MES and related software– commonly referred to as CIM –to understand the systems’ capabilities.
* Your primary contact within FAA, and mentor during your onboarding, will be our Product Owner of the Equipment Integration platform.
* You will follow FabOperations to understandthedifferent levelsof automation currently implemented in ourcleanrooms.
* Your primarytask will be tocollaborate with internal stakeholders of the Fab Engineering and Operations communities to analyze their business needs and define requirements to be unambiguously accepted by external software engineers.
* You will contribute togoodqualitydocumentation, which may be used as input for training material.
* To improve and further roll out our CIM application landscape, imec has started theSmart Fabinitiative in 2024. Who you are
* You have amaster’s degree in engineering, exactsciences,orequal byexperience.
* Youbring5 yearsormore ofexperiencein a complex manufacturing environment, characterized bydemanding processes, high product mix,anddelicate materials.
* Prior experience inorknowledge of semiconductormanufacturingis a strong asset, preferably in a 300 mm Fab.
* You have worked on equipment integration, understandingconcepts like the automation pyramid andequipment state engines, as well as standards like OPC or SECS.
* You havestrong communicationskills, capableof translatingbetween businessrequests and technical design.You areanengagedlisteneryourselfto catch good suggestions.
* You have apro-activeapproachandare solution oriented.Youcannot waitto roll up your sleeves and dive right intothe action.
* Since you will be working in a highly international environment and will bemaintaininga good contact with colleagues and co-workers from all over the world, fluency in English is essential.
