IT Engineer SuportSECO Group is looking for a IT Engineer Support to support the IT Team at the Diegem office.The IT Support Engineer is a member of the IT Service Management (ITSM) team whose mission isto ensure that IT services are delivered effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of SECO andto enhance user satisfaction.The IT Support Engineer ensures the smooth operation of technology systems within SECO. The ITSupport Engineer contributes to provide technical assistance and support to end users, to resolveIT-related issues, and to maintain the overall functionality of computer systems, software, andnetworks.Key responsabilities:Helpdesk SupportRespond to user inquiries, diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, and provide timely resolutions via various communication channels such as phone, email,chat, remote control or in person.Technical Issue ResolutionInvestigate and resolve hardware, software, and network problems by analysing symptoms, performing diagnostic tests, and identifying solutions tominimize downtime and disruptions.Incident managementDocument and track support requests using the ticketing system.Prioritize and manage multiple support tickets simultaneouslyEnsuring timely resolutionEffective communication with users regarding the status and progress of theirrequests.User AccountmanagementAdminister user accounts, permissions, and access rights, including creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts in accordance with establishedprotocols and security standards.Software and Hardware InstallationInstall, configure, and upgrade operating systems, software applications, and hardware components, ensuring compatibility, security, andoptimal performance.Audio/Video equipmentProvide technical support for facilities such as audio/video conferencing systems.Documentation and knowledge sharingCreate and maintain accurate documentation, including user guides, knowledge base articles, and standard operating proceduresShare knowledge and provide guidance to end-users.Training and SupportConduct training sessions or create user guides to educate end-users on the proper use of hardware, software, and IT systems, enabling them to leveragetechnology effectively. Provide IT introduction to new users.IT Asset ManagementTrack, inventory, and manage IT assets, including hardware software licenses, and peripherals, ensuring compliance with organizational policies andprocedures.IT securityAssist in the implementation and maintenance of IT security policies and procedures.
