We take pride in cultivating an environment where all team members can grow, feel heard, valued, and empowered. /p h3Why this role is important to us /h3 pWe are looking for a bLead Business Consultant /b to join our bEMEA Consulting Services /b team, which allows for consulting excellency, efficiency in configuration and standardisation as well as knowledge sharing and collaboration across divisions and market units. As a Business Consultant in the Investments team you are, or will become, a trusted business and technology advisor for our clients in at least two of the following areas of SimCorp Dimension®: /p ul liPortfolio management /li liTrading and order management /li liCompliance, regulatory and internal restrictions /li liPerformance measurement and attribution /li liRisk management (market and liquidity) /li liRegulatory topics, such as Solvency II (including ORSA) /li liInstrument valuation and analytics (theoretical pricing) /li /ul pYou will be exposed to the complete spectrum of financial instruments and their valuation, from plain vanilla equity and fixed income instruments to complex OTC derivatives. Furthermore, you will work with all processes related to your area of specialization. As part of your induction you will be ‘hands‑on’ in our software system and attend the three‑weeks’ SimCorp Dimension® Academy. /p h3What you will be responsible for /h3 ul liBe responsible for major parts of SimCorp Dimension® implementation projects: You anticipate client needs based on your understanding of the relevant business processes in portfolio/asset management at asset managers or asset owners and act as a trusted advisor to the client /li liDesign and configure solutions across multiple modules and project streams and design solutions that enable our clients to reach their desired outcomes /li liAdvise on and improve standard implementation processes as well as product and service offerings /li liIdentify opportunities for growth and explore new ideas, feeding this back to the organisation and supporting its development /li liParticipate in sales processes when required to position SimCorp concepts and offerings /li liInstruct and mentor less experienced colleagues on the job and share knowledge with colleagues on an international level /li /ul h3What we value /h3 pYou like to deep dive into business processes in investment management and enjoy modelling them in our software. You have in‑depth knowledge about the business at asset managers, fund managers, insurers or banks. In addition you bring with you: /p ul liDegree in economics, finance, mathematics, computer science or similar qualification /li liPrevious experience as an Analyst or (Implementation) Consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks or consulting firms /li liExcellent know‑how in at least two of the following areas: ul liPortfolio management /li liTrading and order management /li liCompliance, regulatory and internal restrictions /li liPerformance measurement and attribution /li liRisk management (market and liquidity) /li liRegulatory topics, such as Solvency II (incl. ORSA) /li liInstrument valuation and analytics (theoretical pricing) /li /ul /li liFRM, CFA, CIPM or other relevant certifications/designations are desirable /li liTeam spirit and a desire to share your knowledge /li liHigh communication and consulting skills /li liHigh degree of commercial awareness, customer orientation and quality consciousness /li liFluency in English and French or Spanish /li liReadiness to travel /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 pSimCorp provides a range of benefits that may influence decisions regarding job offers.
