DescriptionWould you like to join an international company on a human scale in Brussels and gain valuable professional experience? We are looking for a versatile Travel & Customer Care Assistant to support the DiscoverEU team in delivering smooth travel coordination and high-quality participant support.


Key Responsibilities
Travel & Customer Care


Respond promptly to participant enquiries via email and chat, ensuring agreed service levels are met
Coordinate travel logistics, including booking support, document verification, and expense/invoice tracking
Identify and escalate complex cases to the appropriate team members when required
Manage special travel situations (e.g. accessibility needs, lost tickets, rebookings) and maintain accurate records
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, data protection rules, and financial guidelines
Support administrative tasks and team coordination as needed
Troubleshoot participant documentation issues and follow escalation processes



Admin, IT & Tools


Use internal platforms and helpdesk tools to efficiently assist participants
Work with databases, IT systems, and standard office tools
Ensure all data handling complies with GDPR and internal IT security protocols
Promote sustainability principles as part of EMAS commitments

Available between June and August (with extension until September–October for German and/or Polish speakers)
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
Good written skills in German, Dutch, and/or Polish
Strong customer service mindset and professional communication skills
Well-organised, able to manage priorities and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and consistency

Offer
Initial mission of 3 months (extended to 5 months for German and/or Polish speakers)
Salary: €2,435 gross/month
Possibility of 1 to 2 days of remote work per week
