Description of the function
To support the growth of our business, we are looking for a fulltime Regional Sales Manager
What you will do:
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will venture into a newly created position where you will be responsible for growth and profitable sales of all Tyco Security Products Access control and Video brands across the Nordic regions. You will report to the Sales Director ¿ Europe and, and work as a team with the Regional Sales Manager North Western Europe, 2 Application Engineers and a Business Development Manager. With their support, you will develop strong customer relationships with our internal and external customers, as well as our partners in order to drive both short- and long-term sales. As the immediate contact person for our customers, you are to ensure that the voice and demands of the customers are accurately transferred to the TSP product organisation. In this position you will be situated in either the Nordics or another country in Western Europe, depending on your current location and agreement with the Sales Director.
How you will do it:
As Regional Sales Manager, your responsibilities will cover a number of areas. You will visit both existing and potential customers as well as business partners in order to create new business and promote the TSP portfolio. As of such, you will also negotiate pricing and conditions with customers on specific projects. Additionally, you will also organize customer events (e.g. Technology Days, A&E events etc.) and assist at Trade shows, Open days arrangements and seminars in order to promote the TSP portfolio. Furthermore, you are expected to gather, analyse and organize market, customer, and competitor data in order to identify new business opportunities and provide feedback to the TSP product and marketing organisation. Finally, you will administer your sales activities through SalesForce.com and 3P, and you will provide continuous support to customers when needed, which entails following-up on incoming orders, keeping existing partners informed, monitoring and controlling information flow, and arranging and conducting product sales training.
What we look for:
To thrive and succeed as our Regional Sales Manager, you must have highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills, enabling you to service and negotiate with customers and partners. You likely have a degree in electronic engineering or similar, and perhaps a couple years of experience working with security applications or within a similar technical environment. As of such, you have an ability to learn new products on a medium technical level. In addition, you are skilled communicator, written and spoken, and you are fluent in English and possibly an additional European language. Finally, you know how to work autonomously, but also as part of a team
