Technical pre- & post-sales manager - Pro Audio

We’re entering an exciting growth phase and are looking for a technical pre- & post-sales manager - Pro Audio who can combine technical expertise with commercial drive. This role is central to expanding our presence across Europe and beyond and shaping how customers experience our technology.
This is not a “sit back and wait” role. You’ll be actively involved in building our network, presenting our solutions at trade shows, and making sure customers get the most out of our products.
Responsibilities
* Act as the technical expert for Areal solutions, offering support for distributors, venues, artists, DJs, sound engineers, and educators.
* Plan, execute and operate temporary events as well as installation tasks and carry out set-up and programming of Areal systems on site.
* Deliver technical demos and in-depth product demonstrations, explaining the technical benefits and applications of our products to key decision-makers in venues and event spaces.
* Develop strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for new business.
* React to customer requests, providing pre- and post-sales support to ensure customer success.
* Attend and support tradeshows and industry events across Europe and beyond
* Contribute to the Areal training & education program and deliver it to customer and partners.
* Contribute to marketing by writing case studies, white papers, and basic technical content.
* Keep track of opportunities and activities in our CRM system.
Required skills
* 3–6 years of experience in audio technology (audio engineering, networking, signal flow, etc.)
* A completed training as a specialist or have a degree in event/audio technology or a comparable field (or equivalent by experience).
* Strong commercial acumen, with a natural interest in building lasting customer relationships.
* Excellent demo and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Strong planning & organizational skills, backed with a proven track record in delivering technical projects.
* Ability to translate technical features into clear business value
* Experience with CRM and project management systems (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot, Monday, Odoo,...)
* Strong communication skills: fluent English (required) and Dutch (preferred)
* Willingness to travel across Europe frequently.
* A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with sales teams, ensuring a seamless integration of technical and commercial elements.
* Proactive, flexible, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.
