Your head office will be in the heart of the Ardennes, on the world's most beautiful racetrack, "FRANCORCHAMPS."Start date: ASAPContract: PermanentLocation: Belgium - Circuit Spa-FrancorchampsLanguages: EnglishWorking closely with our leadership team, you will participate in developing client'sstrategy and delivering the technical roadmap.You will be responsible for simulator operations and the service delivery to our customers, including:Leading simulator operations and supervising the activities of assistant Simulator Operators.Developing and integrating simulator systems, including the vehicle models, tyre models and track modelsOptimising the simulation environment for performance, robustness and user-friendlinessCollaborating with our modelling team to develop the physics model of our customers' vehicles and their subsystemsManaging and maintaining the simulator facility, working closely with our partners and suppliersAssisting and mentoring the simulator team, and leading technical programmesYour profileMaster's or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field5+ years of experience with the development and utilisation of DiL simulators, ideally within a high-level motorsport environmentYou should be an expert in several of the following areas:DiL simulators and real-time operating systemsMotion Cueing developmentsModel integration, fitting and correlationHiL integrationControl systemsVehicle system modellingProficiency in Matlab/Simulink, Python, C/C++, and familiarity with vehicle modelling and simulation environments such as Speedgoat,Concurrent, dSpace, Modelica, Dymola is beneficialCustomer-centric approach whilst representing the company's technical expertise in simulation technologyHighly self-motivated, result-oriented and able to work independently with a very high attention to detailStress-tolerant, open-minded, innovative, and a team playerFull professional proficiency in English is mandatory, French and German are a plusWillingness to travel, as required
