Resposibilities
Conditioning training: developing endurance so that players can sustain a match at a high tempo.
Strength training: improving muscle strength and explosiveness for sprinting, jumping, and tackling power. Speed and agility: training acceleration, sprinting ability, changes of direction, and reaction speed.
Injury prevention: designing exercises to reduce the risk of injury.
Recovery management: guiding recovery after matches and training, including monitoring fatigue.
Load control: monitoring training load via GPS data, heart rate measurements, and other performance indicators.
Individual guidance: adapting programs to the needs of specific players (e.g., rehabilitation or additional physical development).
Collaboration with staff: close consultation with the head coach, assistant coaches, kinesiologists/physiotherapists, and medical staff.
