We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to support accounting and financial reporting activities across the South America scope, including meeting local reporting requirements and supporting the accounting closing process.
Responsibilities
* Prepare manual journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial information.
* Analyze account balances and financial transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment, including lease accounting.
* Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including preparation of 10-Q/10-K schedules.
* Assist with audit requests (internal and external) and perform financial access control activities.
* Participate in process improvement projects, system implementations, and prepare margin analysis by product and brand.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting routines and/or financial reporting.
* Knowledge of BR GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power Pivot, and Power BI is a plus.
* Analytical, proactive, and organized profile with strong communication skills to interact with local and global teams.
