The retained candidate will be working in a stimulating international team on complex EU regulatory matters in trade, sanctions, export controls, banking & finance law as well as on a variety of international, national and EU-level disputes.Responsibilities:Advise clients on compliance with EU sanctions regulations and export control requirements.Advise and represent clients before the EU Courts and collaborating with local counsel representing clients in different EU Member States.Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs for clients.Stay abreast of changes in EU sanctions and export control laws and regulations.Collaborate with senior lawyers to provide strategic legal advice to clients.Qualifications and experience:Law degree and admitted to practice law in one of EU Member States3-5 years practical experience in EU sanctions and export control lawExperience in litigation before national and EU courtsPrior experience in EU institutions (EU Commission, Council, CJEU) in the field of sanctions would be a distinct plusExcellent English language skills.
