Overview
Amazon is a fast‑growing business in need of a Recruiting Business Partner to support graduate student hiring growth across all Amazon and AWS businesses operating in LATAM. This role will work closely with a team of peers including Full Lifecycle Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinators to foster a collaborative team environment and a strong service‑oriented culture that ensures delivery of efficient, effective, quality‑driven service to internal customers and meets customer service level agreements.
They will partner closely with business leaders to drive campus recruiting strategy, including requirements gathering, process improvement for interviewing and closing candidates, and act as the main point of contact for multiple lines of business within Amazon. The RBP will also act as a consultant to business leadership around addressable market trends, talent strategy, and other areas of importance within the student hiring space.
The ideal candidate must be able to earn trust and autonomously influence key stakeholders. They should possess excellent consultation and partnership skills, hold knowledge of talent acquisition and/or program management, and demonstrate a strong ability to work through ambiguous challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic guidance and become an advisor to business leaders and stakeholders in developing and implementing student hiring strategies that contribute to the long‑range growth of the company.
* Educate stakeholders on the recruiting process, external demographic trends, and set expectations of how businesses/hiring teams need to participate as well as best practices.
* Partner with hiring teams to build effective student sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches, managing customer/partner expectations and understanding return on investment.
* Write effective recruiting plans with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process; present them to key stakeholders and report insights on metrics, measurements, and performance indicators.
* Participate in and/or lead special projects and recruiting initiatives, assessing best practices in interviewing techniques, calibration with hiring managers, and engagement strategies that attract top student talent.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience building candidate sourcing and closing strategies.
* Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships.
* Bachelor’s degree.
* Strong communication and presentation skills in Portuguese and English.
* Technical recruiting experience in high‑volume, high‑hiring‑bar environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience creating, measuring, and scaling workflows among candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
