Senior Delivery Manager / Project Manager (Technology & Business Change)

Working Model: Hybrid – 8 days onsite per month required

Day Rate: €700 – €800 per day
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Manager (Technology & Business Change) to lead the successful delivery of complex, multi-stream initiatives within a dynamic and highly regulated environment.
You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of strategic technology and business change programmes, ensuring objectives are achieved within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, external partners, and senior leadership, you will coordinate delivery activities, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology and business change initiatives from inception through to completion.
* Develop and maintain project plans, delivery roadmaps, milestones, and governance frameworks.
* Coordinate multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
* Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
* Monitor delivery progress and proactively address challenges to keep projects on track.
* Facilitate decision-making, issue resolution, and escalation management where required.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, delivery teams, and external suppliers.
* Provide regular project status updates, reporting, and delivery insights to senior management and governance forums.
* Ensure projects are delivered to agreed quality standards while achieving business objectives.
* Support the continuous improvement of delivery methodologies, governance, and project management practices.
Required Experience
* Proven experience delivering complex technology and business change projects or programmes within large enterprise environments.
* Strong background in Project Management, Delivery Management, or Programme Management.
* Demonstrated experience managing multiple workstreams and coordinating diverse stakeholder groups.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders.
* Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and change controls.
* Strong planning, organisational, and prioritisation capabilities.
* Experience presenting project updates and delivery reporting to senior stakeholders and governance committees.
* Ability to work effectively within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
Preferred Experience
* Experience within Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, FinTech, or other regulated industries.
* Professional certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, SAFe, or equivalent.
* Experience managing third-party vendors and external delivery partners.
* Exposure to enterprise-wide transformation, technology modernisation, digital change, or operational transformation programmes.
