About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Operations Support Engineer to help ensure the stability, reliability, and operational excellence of our applications, cloud environments, and delivery pipelines. This is not a traditional Site Reliability Engineering role. The position is highly focused on production operations, day‑to‑day support activities, incident management, pipeline troubleshooting, configuration management, and continuous operational improvement with a strong engineering mindset. You will work closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to maintain reliable systems, improve operational processes, and drive issues through to resolution in fast‑paced production environments.
Responsibilities
* Own application, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipeline support activities across production and non‑production environments.
* Handle operational tickets, incidents, escalations, and service requests with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
* Perform troubleshooting, triage, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of complex application, infrastructure, and deployment issues.
* Ensure production stability and reliability of software delivery pipelines.
* Manage, maintain, and standardize application and infrastructure configurations.
* Improve and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable, and predictable releases.
* Monitor and support cloud‑based environments and infrastructure.
* Automate operational and repetitive tasks using scripting and tooling.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to reduce recurring operational issues and improve system reliability.
* Contribute to long‑term operational excellence initiatives while balancing reactive support responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
* Strong experience in production operations, technical support, DevOps, and cloud‑based environments.
* Proven experience troubleshooting complex application, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipeline issues.
* Experience working in ticket‑driven operational support environments.
* Hands‑on experience with incident management, escalations, and production support workflows.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Docker, and Kubernetes.
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment automation.
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
* Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, Shell, or similar).
* Excellent communication, prioritization, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to balance operational support responsibilities with continuous improvement initiatives.
Nice to Have Skills
* Experience supporting distributed systems and microservices architectures.
* Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
* Experience with Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, or GitOps workflows.
* Knowledge of Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals.
* Experience working in international and highly collaborative engineering environments.
* Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
* Previous experience supporting high‑availability production systems at scale.
