About Station
WABI TV5 first signed on in January 1953, becoming Maine's first television station. It has long been the news leader for eastern and central Maine. The station is located at 35 Hildreth Street in Bangor and has a bureau in Waterville, Maine.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will run our Central Maine Bureau in Waterville. While this is considered a general assignment reporting position, there is a heavy emphasis on coverage of the state legislature/governor in Augusta as well as state elections. There may also be fill-in anchor opportunities. The job requires shooting and editing, and posting materials to social media and website.

Qualifications
* Educational background in electronic mass media/journalism
* Experience shooting and editing
* Experience running live backpack unit (TVU)
* Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
