ADI Global Distribution now have the opportunity for a Associate Category Manager - Exclusive Brands to join our Category Management team based in Bruges, Flandre Occidentale, Belgium and report to our EMEA Head Office in managers based in UK. This role is hybrid working with 3 days working from the office and 2 days from home.
ADI Global, a division of Resideo Security Group, is seeking an Associate Category Manager to assist the Category Manager to drive the strategy, product roadmap, strategic supplier relationships, growth, and profitability for a high value category of products. This individual will support the development and execution of the product mix and pricing models, while helping to and manage supplier relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate who is looking to build a career in Category Management with a global market leader in Security, Fire, and Audio/Visual distribution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own and deliver the Exclusive Brands category strategy, including growth plans, product roadmaps, and promotional programs to achieve budget objectives.
2. Lead end‑to‑end stakeholder management for Exclusive Brands, including product development, sourcing, pricing, and go‑to‑market activity.
3. Grow Exclusive Brands profitably in line with gross margin targets, while managing working capital and IOS (Inactive, Obsolete, Surplus).
4. Work closely with the ADI EMEA leadership team to communicate Exclusive Brand priorities, opportunities, performance, and risks.
5. Partner with Marketing, Sales, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams to drive awareness, adoption, and sell‑through of Exclusive Brands.
6. Develop and execute product mix, inventory, and pricing strategies based on data, market insight, and customer buying behaviour.
7. Act as the product and category SME for Exclusive Brands, supporting key initiatives including ERP and system enhancements.
8. Ensure products meet all legal, safety, and regulatory standards (. labelling, claims, specifications)
9. Manage products through full lifecycle: launch, review, reformulation, delist, or replacement
10. Lead post‑launch reviews and customer insight analysis to drive continuous improvement
11. Support sustainability initiatives, including packaging reduction and responsible sourcing
YOU MUST HAVE
12. Experience as a product or category manager, or in a similar commercial role.
13. Strong product marketing and commercial category management experience.
14. Ability to set clear strategic direction while remaining hands‑on and execution‑focused.
15. Proven ability to support field sales with pricing, inventory positioning, and product expertise.
16. Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills at all levels of the business.
17. Knowledge of product regulations, quality standards and packaging requirements.

18. Experience building and executing category roadmaps, including annual and longer‑term three to five year plans.
19. Experience improving inventory management processes, including SIOP, forecasting, and IOS control.
20. A track record of driving integrated growth across multiple product families or platforms.
21. Strong analytical capability, with confidence in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
22. High levels of commercial judgement, curiosity, and critical thinking.
