This role involves developing a long-term strategy for circular and climate-neutral industry while leading a team of approximately 300 scientists. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving scientific results and positioning VITO as a leader in strategic innovation.
Ideal candidates will have extensive leadership experience in an R&D environment, strong networking skills, and proficiency in both English and Dutch. A PhD or equivalent academic experience is preferred.
