We don't just aim to compete; we aim to lead.To support our continued growth, we are looking for a FTTH Splicing Technician to join our team.Your RoleAs an FTTH Splicing Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic infrastructure, with a strong focus on precision fusion splicing.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform fusion splicing of optical fibers while ensuring minimal signal loss and optimal network performance.Prepare fibers for splicing by stripping, cleaning, and cleaving according to industry standards.Install, handle, and manage fiber optic cables with care to prevent damage and contamination.Conduct fiber optic testing and performance measurements using specialized equipment.Troubleshoot and diagnose network issues, identifying faults, breaks, and signal degradation.Maintain accurate documentation of splicing, testing, and maintenance activities.Ensure all work complies with industry standards, technical specifications, and customer requirements.Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures at all times.Availability to work day and night shifts, depending on the nature and urgency of the assignments.Willingness to be on call during weekends and public holidays as part of a rotating schedule.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience working with fiber optic testing and measurement equipment is a plus.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Strong awareness of safety procedures and best practices.Patience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing situations.Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.Proficiency in Dutch/ English or French/English (Romanian is a plus).What We OfferA full-time permanent contract.Competitive salary package.The opportunity to contribute to an ambitious and fast-growing telecom company.Ready to Join Us?If you're excited about being part of a company that's transforming the telecommunications industry and believe you have the skills and motivation we're looking for, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today and become part of the DIGI BE journey !
