We are currently supporting a leading organization in their search for a SailPoint Specialist Engineer.
Security is at the core of the organization’s operations. Within the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team, you will play a key role in ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient access to critical systems and data across a complex, highly regulated environment.
Your Role
As a SailPoint IIQ Specialist Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and securing the organization’s Identity & Access Management ecosystem, with a strong focus on SailPoint IdentityIQ.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain architectural and technical documentation (designs, diagrams, process flows, configurations).
* Design, implement, validate, and document SailPoint IIQ enhancements, fixes, and improvements.
* Act as 3rd line support for SailPoint IIQ infrastructure and related components.
* Conduct security assessments and risk analyses, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing remediation actions.
* Troubleshoot and resolve security and technical issues within the IAM ecosystem.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT Operations, Security, Compliance) to ensure alignment with security and regulatory requirements.
* Provide knowledge transfer, training, and documentation to 2nd line support and operational teams.
* Serve as a subject matter expert, supporting and mentoring team members.
Requirements
* Proven experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ), including integration with enterprise applications.
* Strong knowledge of Active Directory & LDAP (3–5 years minimum).
* Hands-on experience troubleshooting custom connectors and integrations within SailPoint IIQ.
* Good understanding of Windows and Linux server environments.
* Experience in IAM engineering (3–5+ years).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex security and technical challenges.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Comfortable working in a multicultural, international environment.
* Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver in a fast-paced setting.
* Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, MS Teams, MS Office, Splunk.
Nice to Have
* Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell).
* Experience integrating SailPoint with SIEM and PAM solutions. xphnsxz
