We are looking for an experienced
SAP PM
(Plant Maintenance)
/PS
(Project System)
Planning & Capacity Management Expert
for a freelance contract assignment focused on improving integrated maintenance and project planning processes.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze current planning and capacity management processes, tools, and workload data
Design and implement an integrated planning model covering maintenance and projects
Improve workload and resource capacity forecasting across teams and skills
Define planning rules, priorities, planning horizons, and resource buffers
Implement workload vs capacity management and identify operational bottlenecks
Configure and optimise SAP PM and SAP PS planning functionalities
Support planning of preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance, and overhaul activities
Coordinate maintenance schedules with project resource allocation
Define KPIs and reporting dashboards (utilisation, workload ratio, adherence to planning, deviations)
Facilitate workshops and support operational teams and planners during adoption
Provide organisational recommendations and continuous improvement roadmaps
Required Experience
Strong expertise in planning, capacity management, and resource allocation
Proven experience in maintenance, technical services, and project environments
Hands-on experience with SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) customisation and configuration
• Capacity planning per work centre
• Load/capacity analysis
• Calendars, task lists, and resource loads
• Preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance planning
Strong experience with SAP PS (Project System):
• Activity and milestone planning
• Cost, workload, and deadline tracking
Experience integrating xlxgzvr maintenance and project planning with contractors/external firms
Experience writing functional specifications and facilitating workshops
Experience Level
Minimum 5 years of relevant SAP PM/PS experience
Pragmatic, operational, and results-oriented mindset
Ability to collaborate closely with operational teams and management
Languages
Dutch or French: Full professional proficiency (C2)
Dutch or French (second language): Intermediate level (B1)
English: Technical professional proficiency (B2)
