Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Senior Accountant (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Brussels.
Our client is a fast growing company active in the finance sector.
As Senior Accountant (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:
* Ensure accounting of the asset portfolio management life cycle: payment order receipt and instruction; transaction bookkeeping; open internal and external queries; settlement monitoring ;
* Perform monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual cash and financial position reconciliation between the accounting system and the portfolio management system as well as with the custodians ;
* Generate asset management reports to assess the performance and support management decision-making ;
* Ensure the financial information and accounting for multiple Private Equity funds is complete, accurate and auditable ;
* Actively co-operate with various internal (PE Investment Manager, VC Investment Manager, Treasury & Cost Controller, etc.) and external parties (Assets Managers for equities and bonds, Fund Managers, and Auditors) ;
* Actively support Manager and Team with further business growth and transition, while implementing a portfolio management system and a new accounting solution and addressing any concerns ;
* Set up operational procedures, implement controls to improve accuracy and efficiency on current and futures processes related to the asset portfolio.
