Challenges we trust you withAs an electromechanical expert, you will have 3 main missions:1. Simple design changeFor this mission you will· Be the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) when a design change is requested by a device owner and is intended for the Mechanical and Electrical Offices. Example: obsolescence of a connector, fixing holes not of the good size on a manufactured part, error on a drawing or a supplier specification…,· Gather all the data needed, the ins and the outs,· Analyze the problem with all the teams, including in terms of impacts with the Automation software,· Be the leader for solving the problem asap.If the change request can lead to a solution that have no technical impact (fit, form and function replacement), then the next steps for you will be to· Find the good solution,· Analyze all downstream impacts the change can have on parts and documents,· Design the solution inside the design tool: Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Eplan, Word, Excel…,· Deliver documents updates as drawing, specifications, bill of materials, deployment work instructions…,· Ensure completeness and consistency,· Review the solution with other experts,· Trace changes inside the tracking tool Jira,· Transfer change to Operations department for applicability.2. Feedback from the fieldFor this mission you will· Supply feedback from the field to electrical and mechanical teams through design review,· Update good practices library.3. Contribution to internal tool or process improvementDepending on your level of experience, for this mission you will· Participate to internal tool or process improvement requirements,· Test the improvement,· Supply feedback to the owner of the improvement. What we valueTechnical skills as· Technical common sense,· Good electromechanical feeling,· Easy 3D vision of big assemblies,· Field experience with industrial machine building,· Knowledge in electromechanical drawing standards,· Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite for documentation and reporting.Human skills as· Team-oriented: You thrive in collaborative environments, working effectively with good communication with R&D, manufacturing, and senior engineers,· Curious and inquisitive: You ask questions to fully understand requirements and seek continuous learning to improve your work,· Humble: You welcome feedback during design reviews and learn from senior team members,· Detail-oriented: You ensure accuracy in drawings, specifications, and technical documentation,· Pragmatic problem-solver: You balance technical excellence with practical manufacturing constraints· Quality-focused: You take pride in delivering precise and complete work,· Good communicator: You are fluent in English and French,What will be a plus ?· Industrialization experience with awareness of the manufacturing pains and ways of working.· Tool experience such as· Experience with Siemens NX mechanical cad tool,· Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM tool.
