This role is well suited to candidates with an interest in capital markets who enjoy analysing corporate structures, disclosures, and governance frameworks, and understanding how these are assessed by market participants. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliAnalyse corporate governance and financial disclosures of publicly listed Polish companies. /liliReview company documents such as shareholder meeting (AGM/EGM) materials, articles of association/bylaws, board and committee information. /liliApply well‑defined governance guidelines and policies to assess companies and produce clear, structured research reports. /liliProduce high‑quality research reports and vote recommendations used by global institutional investors. /liliRespond to internal and external questions by explaining governance topics clearly and objectively. /liliEngage with companies and investor stakeholders on governance‑related questions. /liliContribute written insights and commentary to ISS Governance publications. /liliBuild deep expertise in corporate governance, capital markets, and shareholder issues in Poland, while working closely with international colleagues. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3h3Who We’re Looking For /h3ulliHave a genuine curiosity about how companies are governed, supervised, and held accountable. /liliAre comfortable reading, analysing, and summarising complex documents. /liliCan explain technical or regulatory topics clearly to non‑specialist audiences. /liliEnjoy research, analysis, and structured decision‑making. /liliAre detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently within clear guidelines. /li /ulh3What You Bring /h3ulliA strong interest in capital markets, publicly listed companies, and market disclosure. /liliAn understanding of corporate governance concepts (e.g., board structures, shareholder rights, oversight mechanisms), gained through education, professional experience, or market exposure. /liliFamiliarity with Polish market practices, standards, or regulatory frameworks relevant to listed companies. /liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills in Polish and English. /liliA law degree obtained in Poland is highly preferred. /liliA proactive, organised approach, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines—particularly during AGM season. /li /ulh3Equal Opportunity Employer /h3pInstitutional Shareholder Services (“ISS”) is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity and inclusion.
