A leading advanced manufacturing company is looking for a Mechanical Technician to support maintenance and troubleshooting activities across a highly automated machining environment.
The site operates large-scale 5-axis machining centres used for precision manufacturing and is looking for hands-on technicians capable of maintaining and optimising complex production equipment.
Industry experience is not essential, however direct experience working with 5-axis CNC machinery is considered critical.
Role Responsibilities
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on 5-axis machining centres
* Troubleshoot mechanical faults across CNC production equipment
* Support machine overhauls, repairs and technical modifications
* Carry out inspections and condition assessments of critical equipment
* Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise machine availability
* Support commissioning and installation of new equipment where required
* Contribute to reliability and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility xphnsxz
Requirements
* Experience as a Mechanical Technician within an industrial manufacturing environment
* Strong experience working with 5-axis CNC machines
* Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems, drives, bearings, spindles and machine components
* Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance documentation
* Strong practical problem-solving skills
* French mandatory
