We are seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Senior Sales Manager – Luxury Skincare & Prestige Beauty to lead sales growth and business development initiatives within the premium skincare and prestige beauty market.
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding distribution channels, managing strategic customer relationships, and developing sales strategies for luxury skincare, prestige beauty, fragrance, and cosmetic products across the U.S. market.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in high-end beauty sales, distributor relationships, wholesale/retail partnerships, and premium skincare brands, with a deep understanding of market trends and consumer behavior in the luxury beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth across luxury skincare, prestige beauty, cosmetics, and fragrance categories .
* Identify and secure new business opportunities, including wholesalers, distributors, retailers, e-commerce partners, specialty beauty stores, spas, and salons .
* Expand market share and strengthen brand positioning within the U.S. prestige beauty industry.
* Drive sales performance through effective pipeline management, account development, and market expansion initiatives.
Account & Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, retail partners, and brand stakeholders .
* Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic customers and ensure long‑term business partnerships.
* Negotiate pricing, promotional programs, sales agreements, and commercial terms to maximize profitability.
* Manage customer expectations and resolve business issues in a timely and professional manner.
Channel Development & Market Expansion
* Develop and grow sales channels including beauty distributors, department stores, specialty retailers, med spas, luxury spas, salons, and online marketplaces .
* Identify emerging trends and growth opportunities in luxury skincare, anti‑aging, dermaceutical, clean beauty, wellness, and prestige beauty products .
* Support new product launches and go‑to‑market strategies to maximize brand visibility and sell‑through performance.
* Analyze sales performance, customer trends, market intelligence, and competitive activities to optimize business strategies.
* Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and account plans to achieve company growth targets.
* Monitor KPIs, revenue performance, and category trends to identify opportunities for business improvement.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
* Collaborate closely with marketing, merchandising, operations, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure successful execution of business objectives.
* Partner with procurement and product teams to align inventory planning with customer demand and sales strategies.
* Support trade shows, industry events, promotional campaigns, and customer presentations.
Qualifications
Required
* Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Communications, or related field.
* 5+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience in luxury skincare, prestige beauty, cosmetics, fragrance, or personal care industries .
* Proven experience working with beauty distributors, wholesale channels, retail accounts, or premium beauty brands .
* Strong understanding of the U.S. luxury skincare and prestige beauty market .
* Demonstrated success in business development, account growth, and revenue generation .
* Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial, and results‑oriented environment .
Preferred
* Existing network of beauty retailers, distributors, spas, med spas, salons, department stores, or prestige beauty accounts .
* Experience working with luxury skincare, dermaceutical, fragrance, or premium beauty brands .
* Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite) .
* Experience in international business and cross‑border beauty distribution .
* Multilingual abilities (English required; Mandarin or Spanish is a plus).
