Context
As part of the Digital Marketing Strategies team within the Marketing & Communication department, you will contribute to increasing brand visibility, customer acquisition and business growth through the development and execution of high-impact paid media strategies.
You will play a key role in maximizing media performance, optimizing investments and ensuring the effectiveness of campaigns across multiple channels. Working closely with marketing teams, media agencies, publishers, analytics experts and business stakeholders, you will help drive awareness, consideration and lead generation initiatives.
As a Paid Media Marketing Expert, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Paid Media Strategy & Campaign Management
* Design, implement and monitor paid media strategies supporting brand awareness, customer acquisition and business objectives
* Translate marketing and business goals into effective media objectives, KPIs and actionable media plans
* Develop and optimize awareness and consideration campaigns across digital and traditional media channels
* Ensure media effectiveness through continuous performance monitoring and optimization
* Evaluate campaign results and transform insights into actionable recommendations for future initiatives
Media Planning, Buying & Negotiation
* Challenge and validate media strategies and tactical plans proposed by media agencies
* Ensure the best media mix and media planning strategy to maximize campaign impact
* Lead negotiations with agencies, publishers and sales houses to secure the best value for money
* Consolidate media budgets and contribute to annual media agreements across brands
* Monitor agency performance and ensure contractual commitments and negotiated conditions are respected
* Identify opportunities to optimize media investments and reduce costs
Stakeholder & Agency Management
* Act as the key point of contact between marketing teams, media agencies, publishers and internal stakeholders
* Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners and sales houses
* Collaborate closely with creative agencies to ensure campaign consistency and effectiveness
* Support Digital Marketing Experts and business stakeholders in defining and executing marketing initiatives
* Inform stakeholders on campaign performance, opportunities, risks and improvement areas
Analytics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
* Coordinate campaign measurement frameworks with analytics teams
* Ensure proper tagging, tracking and attribution models are implemented
* Monitor campaign KPIs and provide detailed reporting and insights
* Conduct competition analysis, market monitoring and media trend assessments
* Stay informed about emerging technologies, new advertising platforms and media innovations
* Promote best practices and continuous improvement within the digital marketing ecosystem
Governance, Budget & Administration
* Manage media budgets and ensure accurate budget tracking and reporting
* Ensure proper invoicing and administrative follow-up of media activities
* Support contract management and agency performance evaluations
* Translate global media agreements into local operational frameworks
* Ensure governance, compliance and quality standards are respected across media activities
Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
* Minimum 10 years of experience in digital marketing and paid media
* Proven experience in media planning, media buying and negotiation
* Strong experience working in complex and fast-paced marketing environments
* Experience in financial services, banking or regulated industries is a strong asset
* Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and customer-centric mindset
* Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
Technical Skills
Mandatory
* Expertise in paid media strategy and campaign management
* Strong experience in media planning, media buying and media negotiations
* Advanced knowledge of digital marketing ecosystems
