Description de l'offre

Aqvita is developing next-generation mineralisation technologies for purified, reverse osmosis (RO), and desalinated water. Through its patented MixFusion™ platform, Aqvita enables precise, real-time remineralisation of water with essential minerals such as magnesium and calcium, inspired by nature’s mineral balance while reducing dependence on packaged water and conventional supplements. This 3-month internship focuses on the development of intelligent mineral dosing systems combining water chemistry, sensor measurements, adaptive control algorithms, and AI-driven modelling. The project aims to improve the precision, stability, and predictability of mineral infusion into RO permeate under dynamic operating conditions. The intern will contribute directly to the development of smart mineralisation technologies by combining experimental work with software development and data-driven modelling. A strong emphasis will be placed on adaptive dosing algorithms, sensor integration, data analysis, and AI-based prediction models for mineral dosing optimisation. This internship is particularly suited for engineering or computer science students, or recent graduates, who are interested in applying programming and AI skills to real-world physical systems and sustainability challenges. Key Outcomes By the end of the internship, the candidate will have: Gained hands-on experience in applied water-tech R&D within a patented mineralisation platform. Worked on adaptive dosing systems for RO/desalinated water remineralisation. Developed and tested data-driven and AI-assisted dosing models. Strengthened programming and analytical skills through real experimental datasets and sensor-driven systems. Acquired experience in calibration, reproducibility analysis, and predictive modelling of physical processes. Contributed to the development of next-generation smart dosing technologies combining chemistry, embedded systems, and AI. Collaborated with engineers, software developers, and external R&D partners in a multidisciplinary innovation environment. Activities Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale experiments on mineral dosing into RO permeate and purified water. Collect and process sensor data including TDS, conductivity, pH, flow, and pressure measurements. Develop and test adaptive dosing algorithms to maintain stable mineral concentrations. Analyze experimental datasets and identify trends affecting dosing reproducibility and stability. Build predictive and AI-assisted models for dosing optimisation and calibration. Support software and algorithm development related to smart dosing systems. Evaluate the influence of operational parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow rate, and depletion state on dosing behaviour. Assist with technical documentation, reporting, and validation protocols. Collaborate closely with Aqvita engineers and external experts in water treatment, embedded systems, and AI.
