Required responsibilitiesYou work with Wholesale business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate these requirements into robust and scalable data solutions, analysis and reportingYou complete and structure the data in order to build a PowerBI data model to provide the business with the relevant dashboards and insights they requireYou critically examine the different source data available within the Datawarehouse. You create data quality tickets where needed. You actively maintain the quality of metadata repository/data dictionaryYou identify new data sources and make sure they become available in the Datawarehouse/Datalake. You define the detailed requirements and manage the requests towards the TEC data teamsYou track and report out on issues and requests statusYou structure the data into datamarts using best practices in order to optimize their user friendliness and reusability. You consolidate and clean existing datamarts according to guidelines from TEC data teamsYou maintain the necessary contacts with the data architects and the Datawarehouse team so that you understand the underlying data flows for your datamarts and the latest evolutions in the BI domainYou troubleshoot reported data loads or reconciliation inconsistenciesYou ensure adherence to processes, policies and standards and document your workYou work on highly complex and cross-functional use cases, using data in different formats and from various platformsYou implement tools and frameworks for automating report generation and identification of data-quality issuesYou create scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation, and model implementation Your profileDegree & experience:University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics... or equivalent work experience with specialized training/certification5+ years of experience supporting or working with Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing environmentsKnowledge of the ICT industryTechnical skills:Strong knowledge of SQL (Teradata /Oracle) - to be used in a Business Intelligence contextStrong knowledge of PowerBI Modelling & Report Building and DAXStrong knowledge of database management and datawarehousingKnowledge of Big Data tools (Python, Spark...)Knowledge of Linux / Windows server (connection, folder creation, software installation,, creation of ODBC connections, work in client-server environment, IT infrastructure (support groups, admin rights,)Great sense of precisionAttitudes/behavior:You are dynamic, flexible and proactiveTeam player and good communicatorPositive & constructive mindsetAble to work independently and manage own time effectivelyLanguages: Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French and English
