We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Functional Consultant to support a strategic ERP transformation programme. The initial focus will be on evaluating and selecting the most suitable ERP solution, followed by supporting the early stages of implementation.
You will act as a key functional bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, assessed, and translated into scalable ERP solutions.
This is a business-facing, advisory role with a strong focus on ERP selection, process optimisation, and solution design.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Selection & Evaluation
* Facilitate business requirement gathering workshops across finance, operations, supply chain, and other business functions
* Analyse current ERP landscape and identify pain points and improvement opportunities
* Translate business needs into functional requirements and process documentation
* Support ERP vendor evaluation and selection processes (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Infor, etc.)
* Participate in RFI/RFP processes with vendors and system integrators
* Conduct fit-gap analysis across multiple ERP solutions
* Assess system capabilities including finance, logistics, reporting, integration, and scalability
* Support development of business case and solution recommendation
Implementation Support (Post-Selection)
* Support definition of to-be business processes and solution design
* Contribute to functional blueprinting and solution mapping
* Assist with data migration preparation and validation
* Support testing phases (SIT/UAT)
* Work closely with implementation partners during early delivery phases
* Ensure alignment between business expectations and system design
Required Experience
* Strong experience as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst in ERP environments
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (NAV, Business Central, or F&O) is highly beneficial
* Proven involvement in ERP selection, evaluation, or implementation projects
* Strong understanding of core business processes (finance, supply chain, procurement, operations)
* Experience with requirements gathering and process mapping (AS-IS / TO-BE)
* Ability to work with cross-functional business and technical teams
Preferred Skills
* Experience with multiple ERP systems (Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Infor, etc.)
* Exposure to cloud ERP transformations
* Knowledge of data migration and reporting concepts
* Experience in Agile or structured delivery environments
* Understanding of integration and system architecture basics
