Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support a major data centre project based in Antwerp. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-profile infrastructure programme, working on mission-critical systems within a fast-paced environment.
The role offers flexibility with hybrid/remote working, alongside onsite collaboration as required during key project phases.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, review, and oversee electrical systems for data centre infrastructure, including:
* Support engineering design phases (concept, FEED, detailed design)
* Review and validate technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
* Ensure compliance with local Belgian regulations and international standards (IEC, etc.)
* Assist in commissioning and testing activities
* Identify risks and propose engineering solutions in line with project timelines
Requirements
* Strong knowledge of:
* Power distribution systems
* UPS and backup systems
* Electrical design tools and documentation
* Familiarity with European / Belgian standards and codes
* Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or construction projects
* Ability to work both independently and within a project team
* Strong stakeholder communication skills
