We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Interim Commercial Director (consultant) to lead our Sales, Marketing, Meetings & Events (M&E), and Reservations teams at Hilton Brussels Grand Place. This is a key strategic role, responsible for driving the hotel’s commercial performance, maximizing revenue, and ensuring our market positioning is fully aligned with Hilton’s global standards of excellence. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development Team Leadership: Guide, support, and motivate the Sales team to consistently meet and exceed targets across all market segments. Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to drive market share growth, with a focus on corporate, leisure, and MICE business. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and accounts to secure business and foster long-term loyalty. Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends and competitive activity, identifying opportunities and risks and adjusting strategy accordingly. Marketing Brand Alignment: Ensure all marketing initiatives reflect Hilton brand standards and effectively highlight the unique strengths of the hotel. Campaign Management: Design and execute marketing campaigns and promotions to increase direct bookings, enhance visibility, and generate incremental revenue. Digital Marketing: Oversee digital activities including website content, social media presence, and online advertising to strengthen the hotel’s online performance. Meetings & Events (M&E) Strategic Development: Create and implement a robust M&E strategy aimed at maximizing revenue from events, conferences, and group bookings. Client Experience: Collaborate closely with the M&E team to ensure an exceptional client journey from inquiry to post-event follow-up. Operational Coordination: Work hand in hand with operational teams to ensure flawless event delivery and consistent service excellence. Reservations Systems & Processes: Ensure effective use of reservation systems and maintain accuracy and efficiency in all booking processes. Guest Experience: Enhance the reservation experience by ensuring prompt, professional, and customer-focused handling of all inquiries. Candidate Profile Proven experience in Sales, Marketing, M&E, and Reservations within the hospitality sector, ideally in upscale or luxury hotels. Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building, motivating, and developing high-performing teams. Languages: Fluent in English and French; Dutch is a plus. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships internally and externally. Analytical and strategic mindset, comfortable using data to drive performance. Innovative and adaptable, with the ability to respond quickly to evolving market conditions.
