YOUR IMPACT
As a Senior Solution Reliability Engineer on the McKinsey ID team, you will lead hands‑on delivery and reliability of client‑facing authentication and authorization services on a global scale, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient identity solutions across a complex ecosystem of integrations. You will work within McKinsey’s Security organization, collaborating with software engineers, SREs, DevOps specialists, data engineers, QA professionals, and cross‑functional partners across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Your work will focus on implementing and maintaining McKinsey ID solutions, strengthening operational hardening, enabling cross‑system connectivity, and providing evidence of quality through testing, monitoring, and service‑level agreements. You will lead complex implementation workstreams, debug and resolve production issues, design scalable and compliant solutions, mentor team members, engage with vendors on root‑cause analysis, and define automation and CI/CD standards to ensure reliable production operations.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
* 6+ years of industry experience
* Experience with code deployment pipelines, strategies, and best practices
* Experience in integration and performance testing strategies
* Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS preferred)
* Experience with Kubernetes and AWS EKS
* Knowledge of REST APIs (GraphQL a plus)
* Extensive experience in at least one scripting language
* Load and performance testing using tools such as k6, Gatling, or JMeter
* Hands‑on familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and relational data stores such as PostgreSQL
* Practical experience with identity platforms such as Okta and/or Red Hat Keycloak
* Experience collaborating through modern CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
