Job description:
Your role
As a payroll officer, you are a crucial link within the HR team. You will support the daily HR operations, follow up personnel files and act as a point of contact for employees and managers. You work closely with colleagues from other departments and contribute to a smooth, correct and people-oriented staffing.
Your responsibilities
* Payroll processing: Accurately managing, controlling and processing the payroll for some of our blue-collar and operational employees.
* Personnel administration: Management of personnel files, control of new employee files and follow-up of correct administrative processing.
* Social documents: Preparation of documents such as C4s, holiday certificates and certificates for the health insurance fund.
* Interaction with external parties: Maintaining contacts with, among others, the National Employment Office, health insurance funds and trade unions in cases that require the intervention of the employer.
* Process optimization: You analyse administrative processes, identify automation opportunities and work out proposals.
* Support and advice: Informing internal employees about personnel and payroll administration and answering socio-legal questions.
Profile description:
Education and experience:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent through experience).
* At least 3 years of experience in personnel and payroll administration.
Specific knowledge:
* Knowledge of payroll administration, Eblox Payroll (SD).
* Bilingual Dutch/French.
* Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors and ORTEC is a plus.
Skills:
* Accurate, organized and stress-resistant.
* Customer-oriented, discreet, honest and a real team player.
* Familiar with MS Office and willing to learn about new software and systems.
* Eagerness to learn: You want to delve into social legislation and the latest payroll techniques.
