This brand-new facility is a jewel in Rotorua’s crown, bringing together the historic healing qualities of the geothermal waters with our unique Ngati Whakaue Maori culture to bring a truly outstanding experience to visitors, within a spectacular setting.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity, guided by a strong Ngāti Whakaue Māori cultural story to establish a world class Spa and Wellness facility. Kaupapa Ngāti Whakaue Māori principles, (manaakitanga, whanaungatanga and aroha) underpin the Spa’s unique ‘point of difference’ and authenticity.
We are seeking a committed Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team within the spa's Te Rou Rou cafe. You will be required to deliver the day-to-day food and beverage services of the café while exceeding guest expectations with an exceptional food and beverage offering.
Key Accountabilities
4. Deliver all food and beverage services and support day to day operations in the café within the guidelines provided
5. Deliver a high standard of food quality and presentation
6. Keep café area clean and presentable to a 5 star standard
7. Adhere to all relevant food health and safety guidelines
8. Provide the highest level of guest experience
9. Help ensure waste is minimised
10. Ensure all sales and cash handling procedures are followed
11. Ensure compliance to sale of liquor regulations
Essential
12. Ability to work weekends
13. Ability to work from 7am
14. Barista experience
15. Experienced food handling skills
16. NZ Police check
17. Pre employment drug test
Desirable
18. First Aid Certificate
19. Duty Managers licence highly regarded
20. Ability to understand and speak Te Reo Maori
