We are looking for a Senior Compliance Expert to support the continuous enhancement of the compliance framework and provide expert regulatory advice across the organization. The role combines compliance advisory, risk oversight, regulatory implementation and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
* Provide compliance advice and challenge to business and support functions.
* Assess regulatory changes and translate them into policies, procedures and controls.
* Conduct compliance reviews, investigations and monitoring activities.
* Support regulatory and compliance-related projects.
* Design and review risk assessments, control frameworks and remediation plans.
* Prepare reporting and recommendations for senior management.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of governance, compliance and risk management practices.
Profile
* Master's degree or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 6 years of experience in Compliance, Risk, Internal Control or Regulatory Advisory within Financial Services.
* Strong knowledge of financial sector regulations and compliance frameworks.
* Experience with compliance monitoring, policy development and regulatory implementation.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Able to work autonomously and challenge constructively.
* Experience within banking and/or insurance.
* Fluent Dutch is mandatory.
