B.E.S. (Business & Engineering Solutions) is growing and thus welcoming new Automation Engineer in our Energy team.
As an Automation Engineer at B.E.S., you will enjoy a collaborative environment where you will work closely with others in an organisation focused on innovation.
Your Responsabilities:
* Define functional, technical, and quality requirements for automated systems in a pharmaceutical environment (GSK Wavre).
* Support the design of automation solutions and process flow schematics for equipment such as PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, MES, and related control systems.
* Detect and eliminate defects or errors across product and software development activities.
* Collaborate closely with key project stakeholders (Management, Production, Quality, Maintenance, etc.).
* Ensure full compliance with GMP, Eudralex, FDA, and EHS standards.
* Identify quality issues, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to achieve required application quality.
* Prepare, review, and execute validation documentation including IQ, OQ, PQ.
* Perform commissioning and decommissioning tests.
* Participate in FAT & SAT activities with suppliers and verify supplier quality deliverables.
* Write and review URS, DQ, SRA, TCD, and ERES documentation.
* Manage changes in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory expectations.
Your Profile:
* Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Automation, or equivalent; minimum 5 years of experience in a similar validation function.
* Alternatively: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of strong experience in pharmaceutical validation.
* Solid exposure to the pharmaceutical or biotech industrial environment (strong asset).
* Fluency in French (written and spoken) with excellent writing skills; good command of English is an advantage.
* Proficiency in at least two automation platforms among: Siemens PCS7 / TIA Portal ; Emerson; DeltaV; Archestra; Rockwell Automation
* Ability to draft high-quality technical documents and PowerPoint presentations.
* Strong Excel-based data analysis skills.
* Detail-oriented, rigorous, and comfortable working within regulatory frameworks.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teams.
