We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead our FMCG production operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and service. The ideal candidate will bring more than 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience, including strong exposure to multinational company environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, safety, and cost targets.
* Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and business objectives.
* Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and waste reduction initiatives.
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Monitor plant performance through KPIs and take corrective action to improve efficiency, output, and reliability.
* Manage and develop operations teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to build a high-performance culture.
* Oversee budget control, labour productivity, inventory optimisation, and cost management across the manufacturing function.
* Support capital projects, process improvements, and equipment upgrades to enhance manufacturing capability.
* Promote strong people leadership, coaching, succession planning, and employee engagement across the site.
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience, with significant leadership responsibility in the FMCG industry.
* Proven experience working within a multinational company environment.
* Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, health and safety, and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a high-volume, fast-moving manufacturing setting.
* Experience managing KPIs, budgets, cost control, and operational performance.
* Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related discipline preferred.
* Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement certifications would be an advantage.
