Role: Regulatory Affairs Specialist II / Market Access Manager
Location: 1831, Machelen, Flemish Region, Belgium
Duration: Approx. 5 Months (20 Hours/Week)

Required:

* Minimum 5 years of experience in Market Access, Pricing & Reimbursement, Health Economics, Government Affairs, or related pharmaceutical industry roles
* Strong understanding of healthcare systems, payer landscapes, and reimbursement processes
Description:
The Market Access Manager is responsible for developing and executing market access strategies to maximize patient access to pharmaceutical products. The role involves preparing reimbursement dossiers, conducting pricing and reimbursement assessments, managing relationships with healthcare authorities and stakeholders, and supporting the successful commercialization of generic and biosimilar medicines in Belgium
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and implement market access plans to maximize patient access and reimbursement opportunities
* Prepare and submit reimbursement and pricing dossiers in compliance with local regulations
* Conduct market research and analysis of competitor activities, pricing trends, reimbursement policies, and healthcare system developments
* Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams to align market access strategies with business objectives
* Build and maintain strong relationships with reimbursement authorities, payers, healthcare stakeholders, and industry organizations
* Develop value propositions, evidence-based reimbursement dossiers, and supporting materials for negotiations and product listings
* Monitor market access performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization
* Provide strategic recommendations and guidance on market access, reimbursement, and pricing strategies
* Support reimbursement negotiations and stakeholder engagement activities
* Represent the organization within industry associations and external forums on market access-related topics
* Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and reimbursement requirements
* Support business growth by identifying and addressing market access barriers
Key requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant healthcare, scientific, economic, or business discipline
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Market Access, Pricing & Reimbursement, Health Economics, or related pharmaceutical functions
* Strong knowledge of Belgian healthcare systems and reimbursement frameworks
* Experience developing reimbursement submissions and market access strategies
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
* Ability to analyze complex market and reimbursement data
* Strong project management and organizational skills
* Experience working with cross-functional teams in a pharmaceutical environment
* Fluency in Dutch, French, and English (written and spoken)
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
* Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
Experience in generics, biosimilars, or specialty pharmaceutical products is highly desirable
