About the Role

The Account Executive, Enterprise focuses on driving analytic‑led digital transformation within high‑potential prospects and customers.


Responsibilities

* Prospect for new business across multiple functional areas, including leveraging leads provided by marketing, and maintain the appropriate pipeline coverage.
* Develop and manage sales pipeline—prospect and assess new sales potential while moving several transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline.
* Build relationships—gain a deep understanding of the customer’s processes and problems, ensure the right questions are being asked and answered, bring unique value to every interaction, and develop relationships with multiple buying personas within the prospect account.
* Articulate value—connect prospect’s business objectives with Alteryx solutions, deploy a customer‑centric approach in understanding how Alteryx can do so.
* Drive sales execution—define and execute account/territory plans, meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities within the assigned territory of enterprise accounts.
* Close opportunities—develop and actively manage interactions within the customer buying cycle using standard processes, handle different sales scenarios and negotiate to drive toward close, gaining buy‑in from multiple stakeholders.
* Coordinate account—coordinate and collaborate with resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support, sales engineering, alliances, and partner network.
* Demonstrate Alteryx proficiency—be proficient with a working knowledge across all Alteryx products and solutions.


Qualifications

* Minimum 5 years quota‑carrying sales experience, including prospecting and dealing with complex sales cycles in a technology/software/SaaS company.
* Experience identifying and closing high‑velocity sales wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles for multi‑year agreements.
* Demonstrable track record in generating new logo accounts and growing sales volume within existing customers.
* Exceptional ability to create and foster relationships across enterprise C‑suite executives and build consensus among the buying team.
* Well‑versed in the data‑analytics industry and strong knowledge of competitor products and capabilities.


Compensation & Benefits

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation is determined by several factors, including but not limited to relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. The base salary range for this role in the BRL is $280,000–$365,000 with an On‑Target‑Earnings range of $560,000–$730,000 (uncapped). In addition to base pay and commission eligibility, this role may include additional compensation such as a monthly Connectivity Plus stipend to support remote work‑related expenses and an annual home office reimbursement.
